J-Card Designer v0.3.6

Build: v0.3.6 / 2026-07-13 — simpler panel editing build

Adapts your own images only. No artwork is generated or invented — only cropped, scaled, rotated, repositioned, sampled for color, or paired with flat colors and type.

Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo.

1. Source Images

Uploads appear on the canvas automatically: front image → Front, back image → Flap. Use the panel buttons below to send either image to the spine or replace a panel.

No source images uploaded yet.

2. Put Artwork on Panels

These buttons update the chosen panel instead of stacking duplicate layers. Use Duplicate below only when you intentionally want a second crop.

3. Edit Panel Artwork

Upload artwork or choose a panel to edit.

4. Selected Artwork

No artwork selected. Click Edit Front, Edit Spine, Edit Flap, or a row above.

Crop (from source image)

Crop presets

Crop presets also recenter and fill-scale the layer. Typing exact numbers above does not.

Move / Scale / Rotate

Rotation presets

Click-drag the selected layer on the canvas to reposition it. Arrow keys nudge 1px (Shift = 10px) when no text field is focused.

5. Text
Side 1: 0:00 · 0 lines
Side 2: 0:00 · 0 lines

Durations like “Track Name (3:42)” are totaled automatically. Long lists warn before they overflow the flap.

6. Backgrounds

A panel override replaces the global background for that panel only.

7. Color Sampling

Useful when only part of a source (e.g. a tracklist crop) is placed — sample the full source's color and apply it to the whole panel so it looks continuous.

9. Project

Autosave keeps a local browser copy when storage allows. JSON export is still the safest backup.
