Adapts your own images only. No artwork is generated or invented — only cropped, scaled, rotated, repositioned, sampled for color, or paired with flat colors and type.

Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo.

0. Insert Type

J-card mode: 1" flap, 0.5" spine, 2.5625" front. Final art: 1219 × 1200 px at 300 DPI.

1. Album Import optional

Search imports general album metadata from iTunes. Everything stays editable after import.

Discogs cassette lookup release-specific

Use this to find actual cassette releases and user-contributed release images. Full image import requires the included Cloudflare Pages Function and a server-side Discogs token.

Discogs lookup is optional. iTunes import remains available above.

3. Assemble

Use the flap upload for a pre-composed back/flap image. For odd album layouts, make the flap externally and upload it here as one image.

4. Choose Panel & Crop

Fastest: use a Crop button below. Use Edit when you only want to move, scale, or rotate a panel image.

Numeric crop values

Use the prominent Visual Crop button in the Choose Panel & Crop section for a draggable crop box. These numeric fields remain available for exact pixel adjustments.

Drag the selected image on the canvas to reposition it. Arrow keys nudge 1px; Shift + arrow nudges 10px.

Durations like “Track Name (3:42)” are totaled automatically. Front-cover text overlay is optional and off by default so imported covers stay clean.

7. Backgrounds

A panel override replaces the global background for that panel only.

8. Color Sampling

Useful when only part of a source (e.g. a tracklist crop) is placed — sample the full source's color and apply it to the whole panel so it looks continuous.

Autosave keeps a local browser copy when storage allows. JSON export is still the safest backup.

11. Mixed 2-up Print Queue

Capture two different finished inserts, then print both at exact size on one Letter page. Queue snapshots stay intact while you import, reset, or edit another project in this browser tab.

12. Export

PDF exports place the bordered guide at exact 300 DPI size on Letter paper. Print at 100%, not fit-to-page.
